In a society where technology is prevailing, it’s important to meditate on the relation between human beings and machines. We seek understanding, knowledge and even love in a lifeless object.
The project “Divine Providence” faces technology as an entity with a soul. By using the “web printing”, an innovative concept on the market developed by HP, Fabrica’s designer Catarina Carreiras brings forth a new “creed” for the contemporary designer. The printer isn’t considered as an object only, but as a powerful and creative subject allowing unlimited possibilities through the net.
